About Me

My name is Benjamin Muntz, and I’m a theoretical physicist. More precisely, I’m a fundamental physicist, meaning that my research aims to gain a better grasp on some of the most fundamental questions about our universe.

You can find me at the University of Nottingham, where I’m currently a PhD student (2023-27), supervised by the fantastic Prof. Antonio Padilla and Prof. Edmund Copeland. This is where the magic happens:

In 2017 I moved from Denmark to the UK to pursue an MSci Physics with Theoretical Physics at Imperial College London. After that, I moved on to the Elite Master Course in Theoretical and Mathematical Physics at the Ludwig-Maximilian-University and Technical University of Munich. There I was also a research student in the string theory group at the Max Planck Institute for Physics, supervised by Dr. Marco Scalisi (now staff at University of Catania).
